Loved this place. The food was yum yum . I canβt decide if my favorite was the dessert, berry cheesecake or the grilled octopus. They were both cooked perfectly . The octopus was grilled and soft inside yet crunchy on the outside. The cheesecake was light not too sweet and the crunch of the crust was superb. My lamb with potatoes and cucumber salad was delightful as well. Whatever they did to the potatoes I wanted to order more. The lamb was well seasoned , I should have ordered it medium rare rather than medium. Good atmosphere, my server was very nice and well as the woman greater.

A friend highly recommended Evvia for date night, and we're so glad we gave it a shot... this was a fantastic meal from start to finish. We sampled quite a few starters. The Evvia flatbread with garlic potato spread and pickled vegetables was fantastic; we loved it so much we ordered a second side of the garlic spread just to keep eating it with everything else! The octopus was a true highlight: perfectly cooked, juicy and tender, with an olive oil, lemon, and oregano topping that made it sing. The meatballs were tasty, and the lamb riblets were a pleasant surprise ...normally a bit gamey, but here the meat just fell off the bone with great flavor. For our main, we split the whole branzino (deboned, no head... I believe it was the lavraki), and it did not disappoint. The portion was generous, the fish was seasoned beautifully, and the lemon dressing paired perfectly with the sautΓ©ed Swiss chard on the side. We also had the Evvia potatoes alongside, which were a great complement to the fish. By this point we were stuffed, but our server still let us try the eggplant spread (just as good as everything else, even if we could only manage a few bites) and a half order of the galaktob

We have been to this very place several times. It is the best Greek place we know of. The staff is nice and professional. The food was mostly excellent. No wonder it is popular with the Silicon Valley business crowd.

Iβve eaten so many meals at Evvia itβs ridiculous. From take-out to dine in, theyβve been a staple for me since the first time Iβve dined here. Iβve even brought family and friends. I also love their sister restaurant Kokkari in San Francisco. Best Greek food in the United States if you ask me. The food is outstanding and the service is phenomenal. Iβve never had a bad meal here ever and have always been treated with the utmost kindness and graciousness. Tonight was a testament to that as I experienced a minor discrepancy with an over the phone order and the manager smoothed things out and made things right. I was shocked at how great the service remains in a time when dining interactions and experiences seem to be degrading in quality and value but not here. Great food, good people and will forever be a top pick in the Valley for me! Donβt hesitate to dine here, you wonβt regret it.

We have been coming to this place for decades. They continue to deliver excellent food, service, and that warm welcoming atmosphere over and over. We decided to bring family this time. We can never resist their mezedes (appetizers). We had the lamb riblets, a great green salad, and the plate of taramosalata, tzatziki, eggplant, with pita bread. For our mains, of course, we had their whole grilled and roasted fishes. We ordered the sea bass and the sea bream. The sea bream was divine! We could not make up our mind about which lamb. So, we tried the lamb shank with a side of roasted potatoes (theyβre serious about potatoes here!). Another hit! We used to enjoy the whole lamb on a spit a they used to serve cuts from different parts of the lamb. We chose to share 3 desserts that capped off the meal sweetly!
